August 2006 Interview

When did you start singing? I think I sang before I spoke...but really I think I was about  2 when I would hum with music & by 5 I was singing. My first songs were (cant help falling in love & Guadalajara)

Where will  you be performing? There are many things up in the air right now but I will be back at the Monmouth Theater & doing benefits all over the tri-state.

What direction do you think your career will go in the near future? I think that the exposure from the Viva show opened many doors & has presented me with the opportunity to keep moving forward...I think the near future will be to put my name on the map.

Do you think you will be doing more musicals? Will you go solo? Yes, I will be doing more musicals but of course this all takes time & about going solo...No, I really want to stay with Elvis & other performers. I never wanted the whole spotlight...I just wanted to sing & have fun.

What are some of the venues you have performed at? Wow, Hard to think...I have been in Dayton, Kentucky, Tennessee, Indiana & Ohio. Most of them have either been to sing Patsy Cline tunes or to be myself with Blues Music but they have been solo acts with a local musician(s)

Will you be making any cd's?I make sample cd's using other artists material for the soul purpose of being a vocal sample but I have written music & one day would love to record that as well....

Is it possible to branch out into other cities or states?Well with some of the offers for showings it is very possible but I would rather stay small & near home so I can have my cake & eat it too meaning I can have my music & still be a stable mother.

Did you get any feedback from your Viva Las Vegas show? Yes, Many people were surprised on how well it was put together. They did not expect the whole movie with fine detail down to the speaking voices, actions, facial expressions ect....   We studied very hard & being that I never acted or danced before. I too think we did well.

Tell us more about you:Like what lol I am 38. stand at almost 6 ft tall....I am an artist, writer & performer. I love the outdoors except the bugs & things that crawl at night lol I am an romantic type person. I love to be amused & laugh....I love people of spontaneity who can show me a good time & be my partner in crime lol I love to socialize but I also like nights at home with the lights dim, soft music playing & something good to read...maybe after a home cooked meal. I am really like a car...I go 0-60 in 5 seconds lol I am that stay at home normal average Mom to that Glamour socialite...If you knew me as the Mom, you would not recognize me at the Socialite & if you knew me as the Socialite you never know me as the Mom...I can be that different! None the less I am a good wholesome person with many morals...something that is missing in many people today
